Basudeb Gupta is a postgraduate in Computer Technology and has been a working computer professional for the last forty-six years. He has watched the great strides made by technology, especially in computers and information science both in India and abroad. He spends his non-working hours in reading about the effects of technology driven by greed on human destiny. He also writes poetry in Bengali and translates world poetry to Bengali. This book is his second work of English fiction where he focuses on the most ignored section of the society, the pre-adolescent children who do not have the gumption to take on the dreadful future that will hit them soon. It is probably the last diary of a kid living in the normal days and will be read again and again when the world becomes turbulent with the pandemic.
