GTA 4 sucks as compared to just cause 2
There couldn't have been any better open world game than the just cause 2.If u're looking to buy any open world game i wud suggest you to go for this game even otherwise for the beauty sake.

Alternate Open World Game
First things first, this game is worth the buy only if you have played open world games like GTA, Mafia and are still craving for more. This game is full of action and is no where close to the realism that GTA has to offer. The brighter side is that it has a huge and beautiful Island to explore. Action Redefined!! BUY IT
Just Cause 2 is such a super game, which redefines the whole genre of 'action'. This is not just a shooting game, but involves using all type of vehicles land, sea, helicopters, planes and even bikes!
The graphics are amazing and the story line will just keep you hooked.
Even if this games was Rs.1000/- it would have been every worth and a price of 300/- is puny for the action you meet..The game is LONG so you can enjoy the game for hours.

Great game, but misses something
The games great. An open world environment [larger map than GTA 4] and great visuals. There is a decent amount of vehicle and weapon choice and the gameplay is fairly good as well. Controls are great as well.
It falls short however in a few things. To unlock story missions, you need to complete faction missions which get repetitive and boring. The multiple cities and towns are identical and due to the large map, it may take several minutes to travel between locations for missions.

Best open world game of all time

Best One From Steam And Edios
I bought this long time ago (last year). The delivery was not good as they delivered the game 15-16 days after the order. Here the Pros and Cons:
Pros-
1. Awesome Graphics, One of the best i have seen
2. Lots of Mods available for this game you can imagine of

Best follow up game
Well Just Cause was a run away success, so I thought the developers will leave it at that and we will just get an GOTY edition. But I was pleasantly surprised by the new game and the improved mechanism it had and of course over the top action, which other games lets you climb a helicopter with an grappling hook. Well i can go so far as saying grappling hook is what gravity gun was for half-life series, there I said it, go ahead and play this awesome games :)
