Kalachakkaram Narasimha alias TA Narasimhan has been a journalist for the last thirty five years. He started his work in Indian Express English newspaper. He is the managing editor of The Hindu English daily. Having written around 15 novels, his first novel, Kalachakkaram, was published and became a hit, and his name changed to Kalachakkaram Narasimha. Former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who had read his novel Rankaratinam, called him and praised him and announced that he would contest in Thiruvarangam. His novels like Sangadhara, Pancha Narayana Kottam, Karnaparamparai, Kuberavana Kaval, Andhapuram Bhogathe Arinjaya have created a separate readership for him. Currently, Atthimalai Devan, which has five parts written by him, is selling with great excitement.
