This tab sucks I have worked on it and Micromax Funbook and I recommend that everybody should buy Micromax Funbook. You can see many reviews on the of both Micromax Funbook and Karbonn Smart tab. Although Micromax has a 0.3mp camera and bad mic(Some Reviews Say there is no mic) but it has all the rest of features better than Karbonn smart tab. You all can view the Micromax fun book on Flipkart and decide what you want Karbonn or Micromax.(Have used both personally).

My Review is mostly in comparison with the competition, that's Micromax Funtab.

I chose Karbonn over Micromax for three major reasons...

1. Better looking
2. Bigger battery
3. Better front Camera

Looks good but heavier than Funtab. Also what's the use of a front camera if none of the Video Chat applications work. Battery backup is good though.

I bought this tab recently and believe me i compared this device with micromax tab,hcl tab and many more but in these segment this tab is a good option. All of us know that in this cost we are not going to get an apple tab or samsung once. It support any data card not like micromax which supports only tata photon plus. There are many applications which are nice.

This tab is for starters and kids. If you are an IT specialist or some programming guy then its not ur cup of tea.

Pros:

-Touch and looks of the tab are good.
-1.2 ghz processor makes use of multiples task at a time.
-Battery backup is also good when compared to the Funbook

Cons:

-Even it has the 1.2 ghz processor it is not Cortex A8 and some of the apps are not supported.
-Buttons are not so good.

Karbonn must say has come out with superb tab, those who compare this product with samsung or apple are the biggest fools in the world ! i like this karbonn tablet but battery not charge 100%. Battery backup is not good whatever it has given. dongle connection is not proper for every dongle. battery going down when i connect internet. safety remove option is not display. sim card slot is not available. front camera is not so clear. sound is not hear able. battery not charge in low time.

i bought the karbonn smart tab a month ago,today it stopped working.I can't even power on the tab . I waited nearly 5 months for the tab to come into the markets. in the specification of karbonn smart tab it has bluetooth,but real it is a joke. I called the karbonn mobiles supporters but they are not answering the call.

I really don't understand the reviews from some users like Atul Jaiswal, Sarika, they are misleading customers. Do they even know about this tab.
There is no bluetooth on this tab and processor looks good only on paper, its 1.2 Xbust processor hardly supports any Google apps. Camera is useless, you cannot use any video chat app on this tab.

This is a below average tablet, Micromax Funbook is far better than this. Worst part is the lack of support from Karbonn

1) Service - Taking more than a month for resolving
2) Apps - Not supporting most of the apps like skype (Any call software), Temple run and 80% apps
3) Batt. not good
4) Sometimes its hanging. Getting lines on display
