A:No. it is just a blower, which give a good pressure of air. It is quite handy when humidity take place like in the month of August and September.The one I got was broken. I returned it.

A:No, you cannot, this is not a cooler. It is making use of the cool air staying down in the room to blow instead of a ceiling fan blowing warm air up in the room.
