This huge book gave me that feeling of content which we get on completing a really thick book satisfactorily. And I really didn't expect that the book is going to be this good. Also this is my first book by Murakami and the translation was very comfortable to read. I could not constrain the book to a particular genre. Book received before the expected delivery time. Side of the book is bit damaged and twisted. It was hardcover so, I didn't thought much about damage cause.. if u r not somebody like giving too much attention towards lil damage then go easy like me to purchase it. Excellent
Amybody who loves Murakami knows what goes on within his head and the pages he sacrilegiously writes, but nobody grasps it fully. That's the beauty of his macabre genius.
Coming to this book, it's solid hardcover, looks premium (which it is). A few pages I read were pleasant and goes well with his usually mystic but detailed style.

My first time reading Murakami.
No doubt murakami is a fabulous writer and killing commendatore is one of his best books.
His book follows around an unnamed painter as he travels and discovers mysterious things after his wife decides to leave him.
This book did have some slow moments but its worth it, you gotta trust the writer to pull you into any direction.
If you too are reading Murakami for the first time, don't give it a second thought just go for it
