This is a SD-HC Class 4 card and should give at least 4MB/s of performance. haven't tested the speed but no problems with an entry level Canon point and shoot camera. Using since May 2010. No problems. Minimize write cycles and insertions/removals for longer life.

Performance is good. The data copy and cut works very fast. When the device starts the scanning of content takes 2 minutes which is comparatively good to other products. Especially when you store music files. Worth of paying.
