1> significant performance upgrade with windows 10.
2> I created two partition for it 120 GB for windows and rest for Linux.
3> got this for 3k , must buy if struggling with performance inspite of high end hardware.
4> you need to buy hardrive caddy depending on your laptop size, I installed it in place of existing hardrive and used that hardrive of 1tb in the 9.5 mm caddy.
5> if you'r laptop already has slot for ssd then no need of caddy install the ssd in that slot.

(I got this SSD in 1900Rs. during big billion days) I am using this SSD for 1 week and I have to say this is the best SSD, this prize has very less and affordable, you can buy this. I bought this coz I do some graphics work and software are pretty heavy so I need some good software responsive time. In my previous HDD I open software it takes like 1 min and now in SSD, it takes like 5 sec. u can go for it. Simply awesome... Bought it for rupees ₹3,017. My laptop configuration is i5 3rd Gen, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 2 GB AMD RADEON HD 8730M. But my booting was 1 min 16 sec. After installing this SSD it turns to 18 sec. It became super fast on loading heavy software like Adobe Photoshop CC 2019, MS Office, Filmora... This is the best cheapest option for making your device faster. Just go for guys...

Awesome
Excellent ssd. But I use sata 2 interface so getting 200mbps read/write speed. Booting time, shut down time, application loading and response time is way too fast.

It was my first time to use the SSD..and i was really confused about the brand....my budget was low..so i was bit scare reading those negative comments on this product...i put a step forward and ordered this...
Trust me.,..Boot time is below 15seconds.... application opening time is below 5seconds..and overall performance was upto the mark...but i was confused about the temperatures it was attaining... temperatures are above 50 degrees centigrade...i think it is normal for ssd...

Very Good
The only issue is cloning/data migration, no free SW provided by Kingston. Samsung does a better job by giving Data Migration free tool for their SSDs. You can try Macrium Reflect Free (Home) to copy existing data & OS from old ODD/HDD/SSD.
Expect a really great performance step-up, irrespective of your PC configuration. I repeat, it's a step-up of around ~10x from a HDD to this SSD.

Q:How to install this hard disk in Laptop
A:Connect it externally. Buy a USB to SATA 3 adaptor, use the adaptor between the laptops USB port and the SATA port of the SDD. Not easy to connect the SDD to the internal SATA port of laptop.

A:that is possible... but if you keep your OS in SSD.. and have your HDD as an additional storage.. But obviously the data stored in HDD will be read and written according to HDD speeds..

A:This is a normal SATA SSD so you'll have to replace your existing HDD with this (2.5 inch slot). If it supports M2, then you can use M2 (not this one) along with the existing HDD .
