This RAM very well fits iMAc 2011 and compatibility has no issue, however i would like to post a note for the guys like me who themselves are trying to fit this into system...You will go through video and all that for this but one crucial thing that all videos are missing is that, after opening RAM compartment in imac its important to bring up the RAM tray by pulling the black plastic tag to outside, then it fits fine....

I have upgraded it from 4Gb 2GbX2 to 12Gb Now 2GBX2 + 4GbX2

I got my order delivered after 7 days of placing the order. After waiting for this long - the product they delivered is not the same one shown on the website (got 1600 MHz RAM instead of 1333Mz). Have requested a return.

Extremely disappointed.
