Good product at very low price

I am using this product for more than a month with no issues.
The price was amazing compared to other stores and I immediately ordered :-)
I installed it in my Dell Vostro V13 laptop myself and works great.
When I asked dell authorised dealer, he said that SSD cannot be put in this laptop.
After seeing some of youtube video, I dared to replace myself and it works well and my battery duration is increased.

Good Choice for Entry Level !

Firmware update
---------------
After placing ordering, figure out that these series need urgent firmware update.
And thankfully the disk shipped by Flipkart had latest firmware updates("D110225a") from the factory itself :)

Performance(on MacBook5,1)
-------------------------
Needless to say booting of MacOs and WinXp were superfast.
Heavy applications were also loads and runs with ease

Not working exactly after a year!

First of all I think I had received the wrong product as the packaging was completely different as compared to the videos I had seen online. I called flipkart but no action was taken so I didn't bother as it looked original! But now just exactly a year later it has stopped functioning without any reason! I know that's not supposed to happen to a ssd in such a short period of time. Even my normal hard disks don't give me a problem so now I'm starting to think that flipkart sells the stock whic...

Worst Drive !!

Do not buy Kingston SS Drives...
They lie about the write speeds.
I have 2 SSD Kingston v200 - 256 GB
These have terrible speeds, and not to mention, they bothe crashed on me after 3 months of use !!

Kingston You did it!

After my WD scorpio HDD crashed after struggling for 3 months I decided to try something more reliable, albeit with space issues. Ordered this one and I am surprised the way my Lenovo Ideapad works, booting is real quick and fast and efficient working. No moving part so all i can hear is the cooling fan running, Really impressed. Kingston you did it!

P.S With the reliability and technology there comes cost. And with SSDs are the future now, even hybrid HDD are coming combining SSD technology...

Illogical pricing

It really makes no sense to me why this particular Kingston SSD is priced so much higher than the other Kingston SSDs of a newer generation (V200/V300 vs V100) and also of a higher interface of SATA 6.0 Gbps whereas this one is the older SATA 3.0 Gbps.

My requirements are only of a SATA 3.0 Gbps and so would really appreciate if flipkart could review their product line and fix the price structure as the current one makes no sense.

In India Kingston Is The Choice

Kingston might not get great reviews from Tech sites based out of US but our buying should not be based on their reviews. Buy products that have services in India. I bought this SSD primarily to speed up my Old LGA 775 system. This actually speeded up my system by 150% without changing my processor or Mobo which is breaktaking.

The best consumer advice get a SSD and upgrade to IVY bridge later this year if you are using LGA 775
