Mrs. Rungeen Singh is M.A. English Literature & LLB with 50 years of experience in teaching English. More than 800 articles, short stories, poems of hers have been published in Magazines and Newspapers. She has written about 200 books for children, young adults, including 15 novels for Adults. She is a life member of ‘Association for Writers and Illustrators for Children’ (AWIC). She has won prizes in many CBT competitions (Children’s Book trust). She won the first prize in the All India Contest of the “Family” magazine. One short story was translated into Japanese through AWIC. Many stories and articles have been published in an e-magazine of Atlanta (USA). Some of her books were listed regularly some years back, in the HT Nielsen Best Seller Books for Children by Indian Publishers. She treasures this as her book at times was No.1 while a book of Ruskin Bond was No. 2.
