I use this for my DSLR with Telephoto lens 55-300mm. Once you mount your DSLR on mount plate, Camera still makes some movement, its not sturdy. DSLR wont fit rigidly. It does Not mean that DSLR will fall..!. i mean camera still moves a bit. You can take still photo without any shake, for that you have to hold the monopod solidly. This monopod is Ok, slightly serve your purpose to some extent. Monopod can be moved verticaly and sideways 360 degree ,no issues. You can adjust the height upto 172...

Very sturdy and strong product and at the same time very handy and light. Fits all the cameras and can hold my heavy lenses too.
