Toe Spreader with D-ring is specifically designed to aid straightening of big toe, thereby preventing overlapping toes. The major cause of overlapping toes is the response of changes in hind and mid foot dynamics, injuries or body weight leads to increase in pressure on toes. Toes try to manage by overlapping each other as reaction to this continuous pressure. However, their closeness in damped shoes might cause infections, also hardening of skin, leads to corns and calluses. Any injury might lead to pressure blisters or even bursa. Even nail growth pattern gets affected, with increase in associated nail pains. The first impact initiates with loss of straightening of big toe as major toe for pressure dispersion. To prevent this build up effect, toe spreader should be used. Toe Spreader is designed for straightening of toe by spreading affect only, however if there is associated pain is building up, it is advisable to use Toe Spreader (with D-ring) as it holds big toe from both opposite faces. Toe spreader (with D-ring) is easily useful in chappals too being extra stable. All these properties are attributed towards Medigel technology. Medigel is visco-elastic gel (? 0.8 g/cc density & ? 170% oil swelling), rebounds in less than fraction of second. It’s core tensile strength is ~14 Kg/cm3 with elongation strain withstanding ability of ? 500 %. It’s tear strength is ~3.5kM/m with less than 4% compression set. Accordingly it is an ideal elastomeric cushion able to distribute pressure equally in all directions. It can withstand up to -25°C with no cracks and hypoallergenic (doesn’t support any fungal growth). It is latex, silicone and polyurethane free, inert/organic and reusable.
