2K (2-Component) In a Can means that one SAMURAI KUROBUSHI aerosol can contains two chemical components to create a product that is a mixture with the right ratio of them. How this works is that the resin of the protective coating is mixed with a hardener. Practice 2 in 1 concept (mix hardener and resin) in an aerosol can - • When these two chemicals are mixed together, the chemical reaction will cause the mixed paint to solidify over a short period of time. This makes a 2K coating more durable than the conventional 1K due to the former being a lot less susceptible to damage from chemicals, weather, or UV rays. Important information- Ø 2K can needs to be activated - follow 2K activation instruction properly. Ø Pot Life- After activation product should to be used within 4 hours. Ø No. of coats – 2 coats Ø Spray at a distance of 1.5 ft from the surface Ø Intercoat – 8 to 10 minutes Ø Touch dry – 45 minutes to 1 hour Ø Coverage per 400ml can– 1sqm to 3sqm depending upon the skill of the painter and coating thickness of each layer.
