Lady, You're not a Man!!!

Over a decade ago, I had jumped into the bandwagon of marriage, within six months was carrying a baby in my womb and in less than a year again took the plunge of conceiving to become a second time mother and all this, while I still continued working. Those were days of long commutes, juggling between work and home, managing two toddlers, struggling with difficult bosses. Those were times when I felt as if a speeding tornado had hit my life from nowhere.
And today as I am reading the book Lady...

Amazing with the words....

This is not a self help book. Its actual Life - your 12 hours spent at the one place you worked so hard to get. Lovely use of words and brilliant advices. Love to read it again and again.

Could Relate to the instances - enjoyed reading

About The Cover:
I liked the cover. It's quite creative and also pops out some hint to contents - which I realised only after reading two-three chapters.

About The Book:
I was all smiles as I read the very first pages. It was like reading about myself! I can bet that any working mother would give a high five to me when they read it.

I also liked the way book is structured. The book is divided into three sections – Acceptance, Adapting, and Achievements. Each section is further divided into ...

Lady! You are not a Man

I kept looking out for my name and at the same time thinking when did I narrate my experience to Apurva...little realising that all of these have been witnessed, experienced and the same action - reaction is being passed on to us for generations...

This is precisely the peg of this book. No rocket science, no jargons; simple day to day action reaction with the right conclusion and with the tricks and tips to ensure that it concludes the right way!!!

Every woman would be obviously able to re...

Lady You Are Not A Man

Let me put it in this way - "Multitasking is a unique skill which mostly women have and we should use it to the fullest capacity to move ahead in the race" this is for all those people who think that females or women are meant only for household chores or workplace not both. What an amazing way of portraying things in the book. A must read book for everyone.....!!!!!

Frank, Honest & Practical!!

A must read for all Working Women!!!

The first thing that caught my eye about the book was of course the title. Too often women try to emulate men, when in reality they are not one.

The author has fantastically drawn upon personal examples and has provided a comprehensive toolset for any woman who wants to move ahead in this world, both personally & professionally.

Another word for a woman would be RESPONSIBILITIES. Women don't give themselves enough credit for the myriad activities they ...

Excellent Read

Got the book two days back, and I've finished reading it already! A must read for everyone. The 'adventures' are fun, the language easy and the book makes for nice company. All in all, a good read (and quite worth it!)

A mind boggling read! A must try for ladies.

A Saturday morning was sitting at the office sulking about the fact that I am alone working that weekend when all the others are enjoying, got a copy of this book from my friend when we were at a tea break and that was a love at first sight with the book, I immediately rushed to my desk and spent the whole of that day reading and matching the same with my happenings. the facts laid here seems true to the core and each anecdote is explained with great sensibility and practicality. I no longer ...
