    Lashkar - A Superb Book

Jihadi novels are here to stay. I think Mukul Deva and Vivek Pereira are the masters of this genre or sub-genre. Waiting for Lashkar to hit the screen. All the other Indian authors are way too far behind. Kudos to the both of you. Vivek's 'Indian in Pakistan" will make a great movie too.

    An excellent book.

This was my first book by Mukul Deva and I have become a fan of his writing ever since. Lashkar is a top notch book about the fight against terrorism, and in particular India's answer to terrorists attack.

    One time read

A good plot and 2 parallel stories, each gripping in its own way. The research is well done and is surprisingly relevant to today's scenario. Couldnt put it down. Only a one-time read though...thats why the four stars. Make sure to read the 2 follow on parts to this novel

    Bad!!!

The plot was a good one but aside from that, there was nothing good about this book... a waste of time for me. The military description is excellent, because of the fact that Mukul Deva was an Army Officer.
