About R. K. Laxman

R. K. Laxman, an Indian cartoonist, humorist and illustrator, was best known for his creation called The Common Man. He is also known for “You Said It”, his cartoon strip in The Times of India. He started off as a part-time cartoonist and would mostly work for local newspapers and magazines. He started working full time for The Free Press Journal as a political cartoonist. He later joined The Times of India.
