I purchased this phone about a month ago (not from Flipkart though). So after the android boom even I wanted to get hold of an android phone. With the limited budget I had, I only had a few bankable options. They were, Tipo, Micromax A 110, Lava Iris 501. Micromax has stopped production of A110 is Tipo is too small for my liking. So I took a chance and went ahead with Lava Iris 501. I bought this phone from Flipkart and it is a delight. The display is grand.

I completed Asphalt 92% no probs found,

Played Subway for more than 6 hours.

Regularly watching videos more than half hour.

With moderate usage Battery last for one day and almost 25% remain.

WiFi Speed is excellent I get full speed as on Laptop (MBps)

Another time i tested Battery 1.5 hr video play back + 1.5 hr gaming few minute calls( abt 20 mts) Battery lasted for 3 days.

Friends i purchased my lava 501 from a local dealer @ 9200 INR about 20 days back. The rate at flipkart is bit higher but the flipkart is providing a free Bluetooth set which costs around 800 rupees in the market . First pros -
Battery backup is fairly good . It easily lasts for 1 full day on a single charge.
Touchsreen is nice very responsive .
Processor is fast and handles all the applications easi...

Nice phone under 10000 budget
Pros: 1) Large Screen

4) Nice Call Clarity

6) 1 day standby with average usage

Cons: 1) Only 3 Home screen compared to other android who give 5 home screen
2) Camera is Bit slow & Average clarity
