This is a kind of a work book to help those who wish to learn Kannada through English. A fair knowledge of Kannada is necessary for the non-Kannada citizens to make their life here in Karnataka both enjoyable and friendly. Shashidhara Vishwamitra has used words in daily popular conversation in the part of the book. There are 21 sections and all are interesting.

However, I wish to say that the work book is technically difficult to follow. The author has provided a useful key for decoding the pronunciation. If the user takes the help of a Kannada speaker in the beginning of their attempt to learn, it becomes enjoyable.
