This Lenovo Essential G505S laptop is equipped with a high definition widescreen display that is capable of rendering visuals in high detail. The 15.6 inch screen has a resolution of 1366 X 768 p. with the in-built video cards, you can also enjoy some stutter free visuals. This laptop is equipped with a 512 MB AMD Radeon HD 8550G (Integrated) and a 2 GB ATI Sunpro HD 8570 Graphics (Dedicated) which work wonders when used in tandem.
Superior Sound
The Dolby Advanced Audio allows you to listen to music in high quality no matter what speaker set you use for it. The internal speakers help in high quality audio and even when you connect an external speaker to it, you can enjoy the Dolby effects.
High Speed
The laptop is equipped with USB 3.0 ports that facilitate some high speed data transfer rates. The island styled keyboard is useful in engaging in some high speed typing without losing out on accuracy.

Must read before you buy. Both Flipkart and Lenovo will play game with customers
I have purchased many books(all books) from flipkart and that would sum up to Rs.10,000.

Many of you are wondering whether to go for Intel or AMD . I'm using this AMD powered lappy, for almost a month now. its superb, nothing less than an Intel based platform, I feel its even better than intel . Amazing product
This laptop is an awesome product that's not yet available in Lenovo showrooms. I had been tracking this model since last two weeks but its not available anywhere else (not released yet). getting a refund from flipkart
1st i had problem with OS installation windows7 64-bit. For 2 days i was trying to get it install even called lenovo service for help. Finally the lenovo guy says "maybe your hard disk iz corrupt" But God knows what happened did a memory test using ubuntu cd and the windows OS got installed weird !!
Later the 2nd problem-- battery is not detecting and charging. Had to remove the battery put it each time made me feel like "the Indian juggad guy"!!.
3rd the brightness was not getting adjusted h...

Good Laptop under 35k
I needed a laptop for running arcgis, autocad, revit under 35k and this one fits perfectly both in price and performance.Now some features that I would mention is that this one has a kensington lock slot although not mentioned on the specs page. Battery back up is pretty good and you would get runtime of 3.5-4 hrs if you run on low power settings(extreme low).

Excellent buy for 34K...
Basically this laptop has all the latest features and components built in it.
8gb GDDR3 ram - more than sufficient
2gb DDR5 graphics card- enough for playing games with high graphic content.
GTA 4,COD black ops etc were excellent
1 TB harddrive but 5400 rpm.. :(
AMD A8 5550m 2.1 to 3.1 GHz
this is a steal deal for browsing,gaming and multitasking usage.Need not go for A10, i5 3210 etc.If you really want extreme performance go for i5 3230 and AMD A10 5750s.

I bought this laptop for sole purpose of playing games and it surely fulfilled my wish. I am able to play latest games like AC4, Crysis 3, CoD Ghosts, Tomb Raider with high settings. The 8GB ram is more than sufficient to claim it a Gaming beast. I am just impressed by its quality.
Moreover, flipkart's packaging and delivery is best. I seriously like it. Go for it it's worth it!

Disappointing experience
Lenovo- time to pulls your socks up. The first product Flipkart delivered had to be returned as it kept heating up and shutting down in the first few days. The Flipkart customer care rep suggested I take it to Lenovo- but I felt a replacement was due, as you don't expect the user to take a brand new product to the service centre in the very first week! Anyway- the replacement is here; and not without it's fair share of issues the couple of months I've been using it. The excess heating persist...

Good Lappy...
Light Weighted is the only feature i like in this lappy
otherwise it generate heats in a 3 hour movie..
keypad lights not available..
power button lights not available
Battery backup is not gud bt its due to 4 cell battery.
and most its come with AMD A8 cpu.. i have done regular working on this lappy from last one month and its cpu dosent use its speed and process..i use many high end games and softwares bt cpu dosent cross the 50 % limit..reason unknown
