I BOUGHT "THIS LENOVO S400" FROM LOCAL RETAIL STORE,BY SO MUCH RESEARCH ON THE NET.
AT FIRST I WAS IN CONFUSION ON CHOOSING MY BRAND,BCOZ MY BUDGET WAS 25,000.
THEN I RESEARCHED ON THE FOLLOWING BRANDS-
1.HP SLEEKBOOKS-(THEY LOOKS GREAT,BUT BUILD IS POOR).
2.SONY VAIO-(SOUND & DISPLAY WAS NOT UP TO THE MARK. & ALSO LOOKS WISE)
3.TOSHIBA -(LOOKS & TOUCHPAD)
4.LENOVO -(LOOKS & PERFORMANCE,COMING TO THE REVIEW).

I had purchased this product in July. Overall, its a very sleek and stylish design with a good performance for it's price. The only problem I have noticed is the touchpad. It might be HUGE (like macbooks), but it is not accurate. Otherwise it is a great laptop. Would definitely recommend if you use an external mouse.

After using this Lappie for 4 days, I m sharing my personal experience:

1) Low heat: After using continuously for 8 hours the heat is ignorable.
2) Speed: The speed of the system is much more than I had expected.

I wanted to light weight laptop and 1.8 Kg fitted my req and bill. I am using it for some time and installed win 8 as well. I have'nt found any issues with the laptop as i use for web and office. Battery hr was good and very satisfied with the product.

1. Good product in pocket friendly budget. Got the item in Flipkart with at Rs 21862 (FlipKart showing price 23013 and got 5% extra discount)
2. The performance is good though I am not running very high end softwares or games. No performance issue in watching movies, running MS office packages, playing small games, net surfing with multiple browsers etc.
3. The design is awesome

Very nice laptop.
Nice multimedia experience.
Sound is superb.
I was bit confused about selection. But read one of the buyers review on flipkart for this laptop and decided to buy this one.
Problem with the online purchase is you cannot physically see it.
My main criteria was sound, weight and display.
But disappointed with Ekart logistics service. Lack of communication. I waste my saturday just to waiting in office for delivery as delivery expected on that day.
Packaging was not good.

I need a lightweight laptop for watching videos,Surfing and working on MS Office! I think this machine can fulfill all my needs in style!I am giving it 4 stars on the basis of its looks and feed backs!

Awesome looks but does not have a DVD Drive.
Comes with Pentium Dual Core Processor.

Toshiba Satellite C640-I4019 Laptop comes with a DVD Drive and i3 processor and is available at almost same price.
