this laptop is awesome and information written about it is wrong so here are right specs:-
it has 1920*1080 full hd lg matte display, also gpu is nvidia gt 755m .
though there is heating problem but it is not a much issue you can use cooling pad as it has high powered processor and gpu so no need to worry ....... also gaming beast

This machine is no doubt the best machine right now under 75k for gaming in india, but compared to u.s its too pricey. I saw y510p with 16 gigs ram and 24gb ssd for $1050 on newegg... moreover if you wait, y50 is on its way woth new 860m gpu and sleeker design... my suggestion , get this laptop from any of your contact in u.s or wait for y50.

I was unfortunate to own a Y510 from Lenovo. I lost my work twice due to the motherboard having to be replaced. It was always hard to stop Explorer from crashing. I never owned a computer with more problems. At almost $700, I thought I was buying IBM/Lenovo quality but I was wrong!

Been using this laptop for 4 years. And performance is still great. The build is heavy duty and very durable.

Its been 2 years now, and I have to tell you this laptop is freaking amazing.
As a programmer I have pushed this laptop to its limits and it has had no issues at all.

Sometimes Windows crashes, but thats because of Nvidia and its stupid drivers :D.
It has happened about 10 times in the last 10 years which is super reasonable :) And thats not the laptop's fault.

Frankly speaking this is awesome product by lenovo no heating issue upto now but while in gaming somewhat heat is there but not that much overall quality is good and ultrabay feature is great.

I bought this laptop from flipkart about 4 months back. The packaging was great and the delivery was prompt as is always the case with flipkart. Also the performance of this laptop was good. Something I was expecting with a high end Lenovo laptop.

i bought this laptop 5 months ago and i am satisfied with its performance except the battery life.it has poor battery life(2.5 to 3 hrs) but takes more time to charge.it gets charged only till 99%.
