Hi All,

I purchased Lenovo Flex-2 14 (59-429728) sometime back but not from Flipkart. I got two year additional warranty free (in total 3 years) plus an accessories goodies bag from retail store.

I will not going to paragraphs explaining and detailing the specifications which are already listed on product page. Instead, will list pros and cons along with some personal opinion and experience.

Pros:

1. Multi-mode: The laptop can be used as laptop as well as tablet mode as the laptop lid ...

Firstly I would request Flipkart to improve on the Specifications aspect of a laptop. I had called up the Customer helpdesk to enquire whether laptop bag is included in this laptop packaging. They told me NO but to my pleasant surprise a Lenovo backpack was included in the package.

1. Lightweight-1.7 kg excluding the charger, thus easy to carry around .A welcome break from the 2.7 kg monster laptop that I carried earlier.

I got this knowing there was no optical drive. Shouldn't crib about it.

What I love about this laptop:
1) Boots up in 7 seconds flat because of SSD storage for OS (only).
2) Full HD touch screen
3) Backlit keyboard - great for typing with lights out
4) Reasonably light - quite convenient to carry in a back pack and work at a coffee shop :)
5) Came with free high quality backpack
6) The time I bought it, it came with an offer to extend warranty by an additional year and an offer to buy a Leno...

Gifted my sister she just loves it. Great touch screen ,light, slim, good sound quality ...a good buy for a bigginer

After couple of Vaios, this time I went with Lenovo. The product is simply great and worth the price. Definitely not for heavy gamer or heavy image editors, but for everything else, its perfect.

Before you get serious with the laptop, upgrade it to Windows 8.1 and then simply enjoy :)

it is not meant for rough use. its very delicate. the entire laptop case is of very thin plastic.the
touch pad does not work sometimes. not a good option to buy this laptop in this range.the only pros of the laptop is that this has a sleek and trendy design, otherwise not a good one to buy this. will never recommend this machine to the students.

I have just bought this laptop from WS Retail. Got it for 33500 using citibank credit card. Best price no doubt.

I just went to lenovo website. Those who are looking to buy this laptop, go for it. You will get 2 year extended warranty on this free of cost. WS retail says its for 1499. The extended warranty coverage means 2 years extended CUSTOMER CARRY IN WARRANTY and 1 Year Accidental Damage Protection.
