Really Neat Device. Name misleading.
Ok, before I start.
The name of the product may mislead some who are not tech savvy.
This is a NAS box with no pre installed hard drives in it. You have to purchase hard drives and use it in the box.
That is right. This is not an " External Hard Disk" as mentioned on the page.
So to reiterate, this is not the common external hard drives available in the market that can be plugged into the USB port of your laptop or desktop.
The device is mainly for small offices or for people such as myself...
