Got the delivery 2 days back. Have installed Windows 7 and its running smoothly.
Pro -
1. Processor speed is good.
2. Good Audio (Dolby v2.0).
3. Very less heating as compared to my dell laptop.
4. Nice look and feel.

Cons:
1. Video quality is just ok.
2. Touch pad is not up to the standards. You will need a mouse.

At this price you can't ask for more.

You can prefer this laptop blindly.... The very good product that Thinkpad provides in this range... It may not looks stylish like sony Vaio or any other stylish product, but if you want to use it as a Ruff N Tuff lappy, then I can say its very good.

Also speed is not bad, if you are working with several tools simultaneously then you can enhance your RAM up to 4GB which will give you a better speed to work with..

For addition info : you can get a lenovo Essential of 3rd gen i5 in ...

I bought this laptop before 3 days and m using with windows 8. its working awesome... my laptop was not charging while using... I thought its a repair, but later only dealer explained me that its not a repair... when your machine consumes more power cuz of load you have given it will stop charging and give all power to use your lap alone (Works like desktop)... later when its load reduces it will automatically start to charge battery... this will increase your battery's life. my lap's battery...

It would have been great if package had a drivers cd/dvd with it

I had bought this laptop last week. It is a good laptop no doubt, but I am facing problems with battery charging. Battery stops charging at 33%. I searched the forum and installed drivers recommended by the mfgr but not much help.
