That is a typical Lenovo/IBM business notebook. I checked several notebooks on their usefulness for my personal needs. This one is one of the few that offer a real antiglare display to work outside with and provides a good battery that lasts up t0 9hours, backlight keyboard and a lot of ports
MOST importantly for business laptops as this one: Docking stations!!! This one comes with the necessary port so you can attach up to 3 Screens to it n additional usb ports etc. \

The difference in price as compared to other laptops of similar configuration is due to the rugged build quality and features like magnesium internal roll cage/chassis. Have used the Thinkpad T series for 5+ years and while they may not be high on style quotient, are certainly rugged enough for knocks while travelling. Dropped the idea of buying an Edge series after knowing it comes without that roll cage.
