Please understand that the documentation provided in the driver CD is very clumsy. Please follow the below instructions for getting it working on an Ubuntu 12.04 machine (probably the method is similar for other Ubuntu versions too).

First do this:
sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-generic git

good product for money

Recently my LAN hardware got damaged and I was not able to connect to internet from my computer although I had a connection. Took my CPU to various stores for repair but was of no use. I thought that transmission though wire is always faster than transmission through air. Also seeing the bad reviews of wireless adapters, I refrained from purchasing them. But when I completely lost hope when I found that my LAN adapter can't be repaired for a respectable price, I thought of giving this product...

Value for Money. The cheapest WiFi Adapter I found on FlipKart and it works wonders. Small in size and best for home use. Couldn't expect more at this price.

Range of the wifi is very small but does the job.

- this was a good replacement to my inbuilt wifi card of the laptop which eventually stopped working.
- signal strength is the same as inbuilt card
- WORKS ONLY IN WINDOWS 7.... windows 8 user please avoid. doesnt support.
