Lets call him vasu is a rare read. It comprises of dialogues with all the stake holders of naxalism. The history of the naxal movement is beautifully blended between dialogues, which makes it an interesting read. Overall, a great work by a sincere journalist.

Author is a journalist who has spent considerable time in those regions , implying he isn't a fly by night operator , his heart is with the Adivasis there nor with naxals neither with government.

This book is well written by Shubhranshu after spending a lot of time with the maoist while reading the book we come to know about a different India where there is complete exploitation and deprevation of the poor and our so called democracy the big tree needs to be cut and the soil disinfected and then a new seeds needs to be sowed so that a new system can emerge which can truly be for the people by the people and of the people.
