LG GH24NSC0, this model is not there on LG india website, but shows up in LG USA website. I spoke with LG Customer care and they confirmed that this model is not present in the website.

I was planning to buy this, if flipkart or anybody has more info on this please let me know.

Pros:
- Go for it best at its price range. You will get the same whatever is mentioned in product description.
- Nice build, very silent and flawlessly smooth while reading/ writing.
- Burns DVD's Fast at 24x as it claims.
- Reads Scartched CD's smoothly. Previously I have used Samsung writemaster it has problem while reading scracthed Cd's, this one goes smoothly on most sectors.

Cons:
- Packaging was not such good. Comes inside a cheap polythene, no Internal LG's own box packaging. Althoug...

the packing quality was very good.the dvd writer is working at its best level.the good thing is that it was here in flipkart at most cheapest price as compare to local market.
dont waste your time fuel and money.it will be good if we have to do some easy as chatting with friend & within some days we get the product with high quality packing & good performance.i have also ordered two extra products which i found in extra ordinary price & service.....

If you want a DVD drive at the lowest possible price, you should definitely go for this one. Its a value for money. This writer will burn a DVD within 5 minutes without any problem and the reading speed is good too. Packaging depends completely on the seller but the product will probably stay intact. So if you are looking for a DVD drive at a price near about Rs 1k, this would be the product you'd like to buy because LG is a good brand and flipkart is a good online shop.

Its simply a good thing to buy as it really doesn't make much difference in the DVD. They all perform almost the same with a variation of 1/10 points.
