Would have been EXCELLENT if Flipkart provided the cables along with the drive. I reduced a "*" in the rating for that.

The drive is brand new & good. I connected the drive to the PC with the power cable and it works fine. Now I am in search of the data cable to connect to the HDD.

This is my 7th product from Flipkart. Thanx Flipkart !!!

It fixed and installed properly with my pc which is a AMD athalon configured with IDE supported motherboard.

To fix this i have purchased a IDE to sata converter from the local market, which is working properly now.

Even though the drive comes of Sata Data cable, better to have power cable also.

This is one of the good DVD writers i have ordered online. Its easy to install and does not give any sort of problem while using CD's and DVD's. The product comes with the CD which is having all the needed software to run the activities. I would recommend this product as this is very reasonable in price.

Nothing much to say about this ... DVD drives are not so Hi-Fi devices to think so much. It is a good one works well and value for money.

1. Brilliant DvD reading capability. can read scratched dvds and cds also even if damaged with a slight crack.

2. writing speeds are as mentioned and give the output. Check your settings before burning to get desirable speeds.

3. dual layer dvds are read even faster than the previous dvd writers.the reading capability of this writer is extremely high.

4. burning dual layer dvds @ 12x speed is easier now as speed is high and time consumption is low.

5. Noise is made by the drive as there...

I have used drives from Sony, Samsung, Asus and now LG - and so far I find the tray action and quality of this drive to be the best. Looks like its designed to last more than a couple of years (which is far better than what the others do)
