Great for ISI/CMI/TIFR/NBHM/NET preparation.
The Book is well written to explain the concepts of linear algebra. Exercises are concise, interesting and the contents is designed beautiful. The book is a necessity for ISI/CMI/TIFR/NBHM/NET preperation.
For IIT-JAM/DU Entrance/CUCET/BHU I think Freiberg,Insel & Spences's Linear Algebra will be more than enough. Since it has a multitude of problems ranging from the basics to the most complex.

Q:I have the old edition of this book. The new Pearson edition destroyed the index of the book Topology by Munkres. Does this book have proper index or is this one messed up too?
