Very Much Authentic But Tough For Self-study

This book is very much authentic book and covered almost all the advance topics in linear algebra. But many chapters are not suitable for self-study and not good for visualization and feel of the topic.
But after a beginner's course in linear algebra from any book, this book will serve many purposes of the advance minds, which certainly are the unique features of the book.

Good book. It can be used as both text book and problematic book. It will be helpful in CSIR-NET and GATE Exam. But I'll still say Linear Algebra book by Friedberg and Andrilli, Hecker are the best than this.

Nice but tough book

I bought this book to get a glance at the theorems and concepts in Linear Algebra and it does even more than that.
It has lot of exercises but it is not for learning to make calculations on linear algebra as there is hardly any numerical problem but if you want to learn proving theorems, its the best.
Only downside I see is that everything is in text and could be having diagrams/figures too. Don't use this book as starting book on LA, but after you have read 2-3 books on it already.

Awfull!!!!

Contains only theory... Even most of the questions are theoritical... Language is hard to understand and proofs are awfully long and difficult... Not ideal for human beings... Follow other books like gabriel strang, david poole...

Must buy!

Nice book for an advanced course in linear algebra, though it starts from the basics. It also deals with some concepts from abstract algebra and analysis. Useful for people working in approximation and numerical methods for PDEs (including finite element method etc.).
