Horrible range for such an expensive modem/router

The range is pathetic for such an expensive router. My TP-Link 341ND gives better range than this router and it costs 1/3rd the price. Two learnings from this purchase:

1. Better to go for a separate modem and separate router

2. Buy a router with external antennae (the more the better)

Horrible range

The range of this expensive gizmo is too horrible. I already own a Linksys E2000 router (bought in Canada), which has far better range compared to this X3500. Spending 10K+ for this device will not satisfy the needs of a user. Apart from the range issue everything else is very good. I completely agree with learnings of Fershid Raaj.

Stop thinking and go for it.

Using it for a year now.
Completely no problems occurred.
Its worth the price tag.
Range is good.
1 port USB not enough though.
