The Best Album I've heard this year.

WOW! I knew it was going to be good. I didn't know it would be this epic. This album is an instant classic for me. Been waiting for it a long time now and my patience has really been paid and HOW!. I've been listening to it on repeat for the last 5-6 hours and I'm so excited I can't type the full review so I'll just give a quick Marksheet type review.

Lost in The Echo - 10/10
    In My Remains - 9.5/10
    Burn it Down - 9/10
    Lies Greed Misery - 9/10

    Uh-mazing album

Living Things is according to me, the best linkin park album yet, and one of the best ever made. Linkin Park have truly evolved to something that mankind can really look up to, and have reached unfathomable heights of awesomeness. Take rock, hip-hop, rap, melody, alternative, mix them all together, sprinkle some electro, pop and death-metal, and add that chemical-X of Linkin Park - Voila! You have "Living Things". The very beauty of the album lies in the fact that you are hit in all directio...

    LP was never gone!

This record mixes the sound of A Thousand Suns with the traditional LP style of rap and rock. There is something for every type of LP fan in this record. AWESOME!! (the free poster is the cherry on the cake!)

    Not Quite There

Even though it is quite good, Living Things never quite reaches the heights of Minutes to Midnight or Meteora. Being a die hard LP fan, I was only a bit disappointed with their new electronic style.

Don't get me wrong though, this album is pretty nice. It's different from the old typical Linkin Park type, which is a pleasant change. However, it's just that it doesn't have any so-good-it-blows-your-mind type of songs, which all the previous albums did have.

My favourite song was Roads Untrav...

    Brilliant album, mediocre shipping.

Ok so, I am a huge Linkin Park fan. I wanted to make that point before anything else.

    First off, THE ALBUM
This is definitely an album you cannot hate. If you're looking for a rock record, look no further and download this. Linkin park, this time has made an album which has something for everyone and there is little or no experimentation this time around. The lyrics are powerful and non political this time around, and dare i say Poetic?

Chester has out done himself and his singing is top n...

Living Things - Album Review - Most Versatile Rock Band

This is a short to-the-point review of Linkin Park's latest album Living Things. I am going to write it song by song as I hear them.

Lost in the Echo: This is like the creativity of 100 musicians. This band moves me every time!
In my Remains: This band is never the same. They just get more awesome every time.
Burn it Down: Sounds new every time.
Lies Greed Misery: The funky, pop rock, electric pump up track makes you rock!
Castle of Glass: You'll think you have heard it because its the song ...

    Let the Rock Begin.

Back in the day when LP came out with their Hybrid Theory.. nobody even knew that band. But they didn't lose hope and soon enough owing to huge singles like; In the End, From the Inside, Somewhere I belong and so many more, Linkin Park swaggered into the limelight and declared that they was here to stay.
And since then they haven't looked back. This new album is not just a masterpiece but also a milestone in their career from being learners to becoming teachers and above all a testament to t...
