Summary of the Book This novel is set between the late 19th century and the present-day. It entwines the philosophical struggles with the characters’ own personal, inner conflicts. The story is narrated by Bertrand Russell, who was not just a philosopher and pacifist, but a prominent figure in the foundational quest. Logicomix depicts Russell’s life story, which is itself an intense journey through the objectives and struggles, and success and disaster shared by many great thinkers of the 20th century, including: Alan Turing, Georg Cantor, G. E. Moore, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Alfred North Whitehead, Gottlob Frege, David Hilbert, Henri Poincare, and Kurt Godel. About the Authors Apostolos K. Doxiadis is a Greek writer. He has also authored the book, Uncle Petros and Goldbach's Conjecture. Christos Harilaos Papadimitriou is a Greek computer scientist, engineer, and professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Alecos Papadatos is a Greek comic book writer and illustrator. He has created the design and artwork of the current title. Annie Di Donna has done the colour of the current title.
