My purpose of purchasing Logitech K400R is to use it with my LG 47LA6200 3D Smart TV and it served the purpose. I can now type and browse easily on my TV. Best part is that it has track pad within it so it is so convenient to move the pointer/arrow on the screen. It was so tedious to use Magic Remote which came along with LG 47LA6200.

Pros:

1) This is the a good keyboard for using with HTPC. It has all the functions of a useful keyboard with touch-pad.
2) Great range.
3) Great battery life
4) Useful quick launch buttons which are customizable
5) Lap sized, perfect for using on a couch.

Cons:
1) Build quality is not great. It is completely plasticy, giving it a flimsy feel

The product was neatly packed and delivered, without any damage. Works perfectly out of the box. No need to install any additional drivers regardless of what OS your working on. No issues in range as mentioned to be 10mts. as it serves the purpose in an open space living room very well.

This one is very light and smaller than a normal size keyboard. Setup is just plug and play. The very first time I used it, I felt a definite delay in my typing and the characters appearing on the screen.Then I used the USB Range Extender that comes with it and soon everything was perfect. There was absolutely no delay. The touchpad is much better than I expected, it felt as good as my laptop, but the area is definitely small. The key placement is a little cramped, especially with the shift key tucked away on the right of the cursor keys, but overall the convenience of having trackpad and keyboard on one stiff platform makes it worthwhile.

This is not a desktop keyboard. If you are going to put it on a desk, you might as well get something more spacious. This is a lap keyboard, meant for the couch or when you are walking around.

Ive been using this for quite some time now.
