If you want to use on a desktop, get a 2.1 system.

This is more than enough for a 'laptop music system'.

De10 out of 10 for design, 7 out of 10 for sound (considering the price segment). As simple desktop speakers, great value for money overall. In terms of sound quality, the speakers handle high treble quite well; they manage to handle bass too, but there's an artificial quality to it.

This speaker is great. Has very clear sound and is very simple. It actually looks very great. Before i bought this product i thought it looks very strange but now, pshh, it looks very ergonomic.
