I am using it from 2 years.
"Logitech Z623" produces superb BASS and satellite speakers perform decent.
This speaker has "CLASS-D" amplifier, which means if you pump volume
more than 75% of FULL volume, then you will see some noise.
Sound definition is not great on satellites.
High freq. sounds (>1KHz) texture is on HARSH side.
IMO for METALLIC music needs SOFT speakers for long listening.
Overall I GOT GREAT SPEAKERS FOR THE MONEY I SPENT.

I purchased these from other retailer after using Klipsch Promedia 2.1 which I had to return due to current leakage problem.
This is a good casual psudo 2.1 system with very compact design.
While doing frequency test, subwoofer contained freq. up to 400 making it eventually boomy very easily (also it is difficult to get lower end stereo separation).
Satellites are loud at mid ranges and I got annoyed after listening 30minutes music however music is tweekable to desired level if you have eq...

I had owned a Logitech Z3 (40W RMS) in the past and was really impressed by the punching bass it produced. The Altec Lansings also couldn't compare. But, I also got the sense that Logitech speakers don't produce good mid (voice) and high frequency (instrument) sounds. After the Z3, I bought an Altec Lansing (I forget the model) with 30W RMS and they were amazing across all frequencies. But, I was hungry for louder, so I sold them (at cost price!)

To start of with I am not an audiophile, i have realized that after my extensive research before buying these speakers, i cannot tell the highs from the mids. The lows i can because thats where the bass comes from so yeah but i cant distinguish between a tight bass, boomy bass, muddy bass etc. Its probablt coz i havent listened to high end systems.
For a whole week i read reviews on the internet. I considered Edifier C3, Soundsticks III, Klipsch Promedia (these 3 in similar range) also Swans ...

I have a creative 5.1, after i bought this i put them in shelf. These speakers are mean, watching movies and playing games is a new kind of experience now. My room is around 200 sq feet and it literally trembles when this baby comes alive, feels like a little earthquake. Buy it, You will not regret.

I have seen demo of edifier, sony, F&D, but this is has best sound quality. This speaker is over priced on Flipkart.

I bought this speaker from Nehru Palce on 29-Nov-14 in just 9000/- rupees. If you live in NCR then you must buy this from Nehru place and save your money.
