    Description

Love Virtually is an unusual, compelling and contemporary love story of two strangers.

    Summary of the Book

Love Virtually is a beautiful love story by Daniel Glattauer. It follows the lives of two strangers, Leo and Emmi, who end up becoming more than virtual friends. It happens by chance: Leo receives several emails in error from a mysterious woman called Emmi. After getting several emails, he replies and Emmi writes back apologizing for the inconvenience. After a few brief and witty exchanges, they soon start exchanging emails on a regular basis. Soon Emmi and Leo start sharing their deepest and darkest secrets and longings with each other. They are uncontrollably attracted towards each other and it seems only a matter of time before they decide to meet in person. But both of them keep putting off the moment because the prospect is extremely exciting and unsettling at same time. And, Emmi has been happily married for such a long time now! Will Leo and Emmi muster up the courage to meet each other in person and take their relationship to the next level?

    finished it in one sitting!

i would have never in my wildest dreams picked this book up as i am not much of a romance fan. but got this is as a b'day gift and decided to give it a shot one bored evening.
well, i wasn't dissapointed one bit. the whole book consists of only emails and the writing flows very spontaneously.
after finishing it i liked it so much that i immediately logged on to flipkart to look for the sequel!

email romancing of Emmi and Leo, kept me completely immersed. The on and offs, desperately waiting for other to write to them, sharing the moments over the email, just loved everything about Love Virtually!!

    Good, just not great.

Good place to start if you're just beginning to read urban fiction.
Although, if you're a more mature and are many books old, this is probably what you'd choose to read when there's little time and even little left to do.
Don't expect surprises. Although the author does a very good effort of making the characters feel as practical and realistic as they could possibly be.
