    All about Vinod Mehta!

I loved the first half of this book. It is awesome. It describes the days of Vinod Mehta in Lucknow, London and then in Bombay. But the other half of the book is not too good(for me). It is more politically inclined. It would have been better if Vinod Mehta would have been more neutral. I wont review his political predilections because I am in no position to do so. Overall a nice book with lot of interesting stories about various people. Ending could have been better. Would suggest this to ev...

    Really Nice

Memoirs are seldom interesting. A mustread for anybody who finds honesty to be the paramount virtue, has a taste for simplicity, detests trivia and is interested in the journalistic world. Loved it!

    if you can face yourself

This book is a good read. Much more readable than anything I have read in recent times.
The style of story telling is not that dense and hence enjoyable.
There are prejudices and colours to that content but it has been candidly accepted by the author and exactly represents his true self. Much 'AS IS'.If you are young or in mid life you need to read this book so as to understand or Romance the remnants of your own self.
