    I liked the review chapter on Strength of Materials....really on depth and easy to understand if u done basic course on SM.
    The unique chapters are 5 and 6 discuss static and fatigue failure theories with good logics and explanation.
    Coming to the design of machine elements....the chapter on fasteners (ch 14) is very good....helical spring design is not discussed in springs, coupling design process is not discussed, and also welded and recovered joint design is not included... which I feel mi...
