Mahabharat Katha has many principles to offer for an ideal ruler. I am so fascinated to see the coincidence of Sardar Patel's attempts to unite princely states and the suggestion of uniting the same to Yudhishtira by Lord Krishna.

Then came some of the chapters which reveal how principles and ideology overruled caste system during those times. When Draupadi was asked to do pooja during Ashwamedha yajna, Arjun interfered and asked Karnas wife to perform the duties since she is elder.

This Mahabharat DVD is nowhere close to the Real Mahabharat! This is so very boring. I regret I bought this one.

This is a totally different story of the Mahabharat from a totally different perspective. Though some of the characters are the same, my entire family found this too boring.
