Thank you Kamala Subramaniam for this wonderful master piece!!…both my wife and I have never been so happy reading! Some of the stories our grandmothers used to tell us during our bed time and now through this book we are passing on the very same stories filled with wisdom and knowledge to our children.

A must buy for every parent who want to pass on the vast knowledge/wisdom about life mentioned in the Mahabharata to their children in simple language

This is the 2nd abridged version i have read of the epic mahabharatha. Smt.Kamalji has done a great job of writing a charming, spell-binding and riveting commentary of the epic. Iam sure even kids hooked on to Harry Potter and other series books can appreciate this. As vyasa himself has said "What is to be not found in this book, cannot be found anywhere else"

Of the several versions of the abridged english Mahabharata I read, this is the 'Most Outstanding' book.
It is simply unputdownable! No complex jargon, no artificiality the purana straight hits your heart.
