This 1994 film, Mahanadi is considered by many as one of the most realistic and highly rated Tamil movies of all time.

The movie stars the enigmatic and incredibly talented screen legend, Kamal Hassan, along with other well-known power performers that include Sukanya and Cochin Haneefa.  Mahanadhi gives you a first-hand experience of a man and his almost insurmountable pain and anguish as he tries to put back the pieces of his utterly shattered life and of those closest to him.

Directed by Santhana Barathy, this movie gives us an insight into how the mind of con man works in relation to the devastating effect it has on his unsuspecting victims.
