A veteran journalist who has been writing in the world of Tamil journalism for the past four decades, S. Chandra Mouli was introduced by Kalki Rajendran. While studying at Loyola College, Chennai in 1980, Kalki Rajendran, who participated in a function organized by Tamil Thura, said, “Today there is a lot of opportunity to write debate articles in newspapers. Hearing that the youth should take advantage of it”, he became interested and the very next week he went to meet the teacher with a batik essay. Published in Kalki magazine on 20 Sep 1980. Starting with that, Kalki has been writing for the print magazine and then the current web magazine for over 40 years.
