MANFROTTO 190XB 391RC2  (Black, Supports Up to 5000 g)

This is a rock-solid Manfrotto tripod (made in Italy) and the tripod-head combo works out as a great deal too, both functionally and for this price. Neat finish, ample features and solid stability (I'm using it with Nikon D600, D90, N80 and a variety of big and small lenses).
However, if you are planning to take this along back-packing, look elsewhere (weights close to 3 kgs with the head). For everything else, its highly recommended!
