    Tasteful Till Perfection

In the Indian Publishing Market where anthologies are being published like cats and dogs, Mango Chutney comes as a trendsetter.

The stories will move you, will force you to think and will leave you yearning for more. The book contains outstanding works from various first time authors like Sakshi Nanda, Abhishek Asthana, Aathira Jim, Harsha Pattnaik, Ruchika Goel and many more. The publishers have not hesitated to touch almost every available genre from Horror to Science Fiction to Personal E...

Yummy! A rare mix of literary talents!

Of all the anthologies of short-fiction published in India, this one stands out. First, it doesn't have a tacky title or book-cover, but rather refreshing ones. Second, the stories are so varied and rich that they can appeal to the readers from all the nationalities and ages.

For the first time, an anthology has stories ranging from genres like thriller, literary fiction, crime, children's fiction, young adult and even horror. Miracle, the story with which the anthology begins with dazzles ...

    Amazing and talented young writers...

Amazing collection. It's an easy read and it goes to show that there is story writing essence in the young generation. I believe there is future of Indian writing seeing the way the young writers have penned their plots. I salute Harsh for identifying each of them and making an attractive fabric of their writings.

    Mostly delicious!

This chutney is sweet, spicy, tangy: indeed a wonderful melange of flavours, definitely worth reading. I particularly liked Arjun Bhatia's inspiring 'Sawai', Alka Gurha's ironic 'Someone with Character', Riti Kaunteya's delightfully humorous 'The Postman', Purba Ray's heart rending Angels and Demons, and Sakshi Nanda's exqisitely detailed Partition story, 'On the Other Side'. A few of the stories are too obscure for my taste, but overall, it is representative of present day India. It could ha...
