Let me say, reviews are really not needed for this one because its already doing well in the market since many years.This is one of the best book for GK and can be a guide to many competitive exams.I have been reading it from past four years. It covers everything. Just go for it

this seems to be really a good book but i'm yet to read it.. i loved the bookmarks with e happy birthday tag ;) one thing i'm lil bit disturbed is the ad pgs in the book..there were too many advertisements in the book which is slightly disguisting but otherwise its fine..

I found the book in good condition and a great source of knowledge but the Britannica cd-rom they are providing isn't installing, so no guarantee for the encyclopedia software. Still no need for the cd as the book itself is enough for providing great deal of knowledge.

If you want to increase your General Knowledge then this is the book to go for ! It is a little bit extensive but the content is worth reading and worth a buy. The ads are somewhat page wasting and its sometimes awkward to read. The content on the other hand is top notch and is easy to understand !

The software CD is not that good and the articles in the CD are too small to read and doesn't provide the full version of the encyclopedia

Concluding that if you want to increase your knowledge ...

best for the preparation of gk ..and very interesting book ..... every should go for it . contains every topics in detail and many interesting articles also ..I can spend my whole night in reading this lovely book .and thank you very much flipkart ..u r the best ..

Ya this book is awesome so extensive so comprehensive yaa really great job done by malayala manorama really helpful for all(whether school,college or general readers , quizzards)So one must have this book on one's bookshelf!!!!!!

I guess all of those preparing for various UPSC exams are familiar and refer to this book as it is one of the best book for GK and current affairs.
1000 pages worth of knowledge for ~150 bucks is a good takeaway
except that i had to pay extra for delivery :P
