Some of the translations read horribly out of context, but the collection is good for beginners who want a taste of Manto and Chughtai's works. I personally like Manto's stories better than those of Chughtai. There is also an additional section in the middle of the book that has a letter by Chughtai about her thoughts about Manto after his death. The people who watch you reading this book might think you're a fool because the sections are upside-down vis-a-vis each other.

I always wanted to read Manto and from past some days I heard of Ismat Chugtai and also read some of her work online, was thinking of buying the product earlier but bought it at the time of sale (though no difference in price) , the book turned out to be a great read
