I thought this book may provide some fresh content in context to ielts exams but it serve exactly the opposite actually. The essays lacks with paraphrasing, Infact they reuse the same words in the introduction of each essay. Essays are lacking connectors and linking words.

A:It's not specified 'General or Academic'. however, 90% of sample essays are non-technical and covers topics related to General only. I used this book and benefited well.
